The reconstruction of the main Temple and the smaller shrines of household deities is likely to result in an estimated expenditure of Rs.50-60 lakhs. In June, 2006, the first steps of restoration were taken. In August, 2006, Kalaavarohnam, Jalaadhivasam and Shankustapana were performed under the holy guidance of Sri Ashtakala Narasimha Rama Sharma, the blessed devotee of Goddess Saraswati.
